House still in an uproar, lst floor furniture in a pod on the street. It’s dark in the LR (lamps gone) but we now have floors in the DR and K! The refrigerator is operating (out on the sun porch with the piano) and the microwave is plugged in again. What more could anyone want? We’ll have to leave when the floor refinishing begins–persistent fumes. Our big worry right now, besides finding matching flooring for the upstairs bath, is Bil. Bil moving to a hotel every night? Bil stuck all alone in the garage at night? Neither is an alternative without stress for a 20-yr-old cat who’s already experiencing some disconnect with his familiar surroundings.  Up side of all this: eating out every day. We’re trying out all those restaurants we’ve been driving past for ten years.
